Editor's Summary: Linux the Unix clone is increasingly becoming Linux the Unix competitor. Caldera Systems plans to ship a systems management platform for all breeds of Linux. The public beta version of the systems management platform, code-named Cosmos, should ship in late September. Caldera says Cosmos is the Linux equivalent of Tivoli for Unix/Windows NT.
