Editor's Summary: Big Blue is after a piece of Sun's pie. IBM, through an acquisition, will be privy to a new Unix server code-named Regatta that will incorporate as many as 32 CPUs. That won't happen for another year. Although IBM has been growing its Unix server business (up 30% last quarter), Sun's share of the sector is still bigger.
